The Charotis SSGC1 52-inch Charcoal Rotisserie Grill is basically a smaller version of almost everything that the Charotis SSGC1-XL 62-inch Charcoal Rotisserie Grill!


With 52 x 22 inches of cooking/grilling space, it is fully capable of carrying large cuts or even whole meat such as pigs, lambs, goats, and more up to a maximum capacity of 80-100 pounds. With that much weight, it is paired with a capable 50-Watt motor to turn it around. The unit itself weighs around 150 pounds.

The build itself is as great its larger version. The entire rotisserie grill is covered with 6mm 304 stainless steel which definitely makes for a solid and sturdy build. Out of the box, it comes with the components for assembly wrapped with a thin layer of plastic to protect it during shipment. The assembly itself wasn’t too hard and it took around an hour.

It also includes the locking swivel caster wheels for an easier transport experience and to conveniently lock it in place.


COOKING EXPERIENCE

Cooking with the Charotis 52” SSGC1 was just like the Charotis 62” SSGC1-XL; packed with great features all in a more compact unit. Carrying the 80-100 pound weight, the motor ran seamlessly without any hiccups. With the 52-inch Rotisserie spit Rod, you can fit in a whole pig, lamb, goat, or even up to around 6 chickens at the same time!

Do note that this unit is designed for slow cooking at low temperatures. You can also set the Rotisserie Spit Rod in 3 different tiers/levels for a more flexible rotisserie experience, being able to adjust it according to how you want to roast your pigs or other large meats.

If you want to use propane, the two 45” stainless steel propane burners, 20,000 BTU each, will definitely serve you well with your rotisserie pigs in the long run. It will maintain a constant 225-250 degrees Fahrenheit in the right conditions.


It has a built-in thermometer that can measure up to 300 Fahrenheit so you can monitor the heat inside which is especially convenient with the lid closed.


ACCESSORIES AND ATTACHMENTS INCLUDED



Out of the box, includes the stainless steel components for assembly, the 50W motor, stainless steel drip pan, and stainless steel charcoal pan, Rotisserie Spit Rods, Rotisserie Spit Forks, Leg Brackets, and a Hand Crank for manual turning.


CLEANING EXPERIENCE

With its stainless steel design and removable parts such as the stainless steel pans and stainless steel pans, cleaning became much easier.


REMINDERS

Before buying this certain charcoal rotisserie grill, make sure the size of your whole pig or other types of pig for rotisserie would fit under the 52 inches length of the Rotisserie Spit Rod. The size difference should be noted.
